And I So miss my fall decor especially those 3 pears... My husband doesn't get this part of me LOL

I love this mini collage on my angled wall by the front door!!
And since we re painted the WHOLE house my hubby won't let me put any more nail holes in the wall.
I think this whole decor thing is freaking me out so much because I need my house, where I'm living to feel homey to me and to others. And currently I feel like it's so impersonal. And it'sslowly killing me.
Some say I'm a little dramatic... ;)
I get it. I hated living in an apartment because it was soooooooo bland and boring. Personalized decor is what makes a house feel like home. Especially when you have to be home ALL day long.
ReplyDeleteI think I would go kind of crazy too with bare walls. All the little personlized touches turns your house into a home. Maybe meet 1/2 way and add a few things instead of everything.

ReplyDeleteGotta agree with your husband - don't put nail holes in the freshly painted walls. But there is a solution for your understandable malaise at blank walls: when you start to get annoyed, get on pinterest and design new collages, create pinboards for each room, & gather new ideas for your new home! Before you know it, you're going to be decorating up a storm at your new place! :)

ReplyDeleteI would literally DIE with bare walls. My hubby hates the fact that I put a thousand nails in our walls! :) You are not alone.
ReplyDeleteIt is okay to feel this way! You spend your days at home! Your home and your girls are your life and you are used to being able to be surrounded by beauty in your home! Hang in there! Maybe you could tape some stuff up!? lol! Or buy some flowers at the grocery store to look at! Soon enough you will have your new home!
